Ironing is one of the most important parts of making any bag or accessory. It not only eliminates wrinkles and shrinkage, but it also leaves the fabric looking fresher. Ironing also manipulates the fabric to improve their quality and ensure a long life. Having clean and fresh fabric helps produce any product with more accuracy and enhances the look of the final results. Cork fabric is very user-friendly, yes you can definitely iron cork fabric. Here are a few steps to make sure you get the best results:

STEP 1: Identify the wrinkled areas
STEP 2: Place the fabric in such a way that the backing of the fabric faces the iron
STEP 3: Apply medium heat (set iron on cotton mode) and iron on the back side of the cork fabric.
STEP 4: Look out for smaller wrinkles and even them out.

It’s simple right?? Please note: that the above mentioned steps are already tested and have produced neat, clean and fresh looking cork fabric. If it is your first time ironing a cork fabric, always check on a small/ sample cork fabric piece before ironing larger panels to avoid any inconvenience.
